PETA, adios !

This winter collections were full of fur coats .
I guess designers had foresaw that this season was going to be freeezing cold !
I am an animal lover,
but I can't deny fur coats and clothing in general .
They keep you warm even if the temperature outside is wayyy below 32 degrees,
they are trendy,
they don't make you look like the Micheline white padded m
an,
which is the ugliest effect of down jackets,
and they are luxurious !
Sorry God for killing animals,
but it's the only way to survive this winter !

Sconamiglio .

Fendi .

Dolce & Gabbana .

Pucci .

GLOBAL WARMING PROBLEM ?!

I am starting to think that this "global warming problem" is a big joke .
Why would my garden be covered in at least 3 inches of snow ?
I had not seen so much snow since I was about 6
in a mountain resortttt,
hoooooly cow .
I need me one of theseee now !

I am sorry PETA,
but fur is the only remedy for temperature below the 30s !

Crazy shoe year ?

2009 was one crazy shoe year .
Sky high, arabesque, the weirdest shaped heels have been present on the runways in each fashion week .
Awkard? Crazy? Impossible to wear ?
I would still love me some weird looking shoes !

Nina Ricci F/W 09.10

Who said youth don't read anymore ?

The birth of internet and the take over of medias
has partly killed litterature,
this is true
but
what's better than reading a good,
involving book in front of a shiny and warm fireplace

while outside it's snowing ?
Winter has come fast,
we left summer far behind (with much regret),
and there's not much to do in "plain-air" when the temperature hits
incredible cold temperatures .
Yesterday, having nothing to do,
I decided to take a walk through the beautiful, Christmas enlightened streets of the city where I live
and streaming under the sparkly snowflakes,
I bumped into a antique books store,
and since I am a fan of original language novels,
I entred .
Walking through the dusty, full, big in knowledge shelves of the store
I spotted the "International used books"
and a particular book caught my eye .
'800 french litterature, romantic period : "MADAME BOVARY" .
I have been studying Flaubert in my french class for a few days and so,
I got this beautiful novel off the shelf .
This challenging and charming novel full of romance talks about
a woman who grew up in a convent reading medieval stories full of
romance,
and once she gets out the convent she starts living in the way she had always dreamt of in her teen years .
Unfortunately the man she marries cannot fulfil her needs,
her luxury thirst,
and what-so-on, so she looks for this in other men .
After she gets dumped several times by her lovers,
due to the fact that she wants to runaway with them and start a serious relationship,
(thing the men she goes with do not want - IT'S A CIRCLE i would add)
she commits suicide, in the same way Shakespear's Juliet did, drinking poison .
People say youth don't read anymore .
I OBJECT !
I am 18 years old, and I love to read;
I am not talking about Sophia Kinsella's pink stories,
I am talking about litterature masterpieces .
In case you want to read a book,
and you are undecided on what path you should follow,
I highly recommend to buy, rent, hire out the novel I described above .

If i were a boy...

...but even being a girl,
i would rock these fabolous spike sneakers by Christian Louboutin .
We all already know Mr. Louboutin's is a women's shoe GURU along with Manolo, Giuseppe Zanotti, Le Silla,
and I could keep going on for day and years;
and I am not very surprised that also his men application resulted splendid .
Unfortunately these are not made in my size,
else I would really buy them .
Men all over the world,
be smart,
go buy yourself on of those !
(Retail cost : 1300$)

LOL .
